- 08/04/10-08/13/10 ~ Travel dates to pick up the twins
- 08/09/10 ~ Embassy Appointment
- 06/08/10 ~ Court Date-WE PASSED!!
- 05/13/10 ~ Rec'd court date
- 04/22/10 ~ one month waiting for a court date
- 03/22/10 ~ Congratulations...It's a boy and girl!!
- 03/22/10 ~ two months waiting for referral
- 02/22/10 ~ one month waiting for referral
- 01/22/10 ~ Dossier registered...we are officially a waiting family
- 01/04/10 ~ Dossier landed in Ethiopia
- 12/17/09 ~ fed ex'd our dossier to our agency
- 12/17/09 ~ rec'd our 171H
- 11/20/09 ~ got dossier, excluding 171h, state certified
- 11/20/09 ~ Second series of Hep B shots
- 11/16/09 ~ USCIS rec'd our
home study - 11/13/09 ~ Fed Ex'd
home study to USCIS - 11/13/09 ~ Rec'd approval letter from DCFS
- 10/22/09 ~
Start our series of shots needed for travel...OUCH! - 09/29/09 ~ Fingerprinting for USCIS in Indy
- 09/19/09 ~ Rec'd our foster license from DCFS
- 09/??/09 ~ rec'd certified
marriage certificate from Nevada - 08/25/09 ~ Fed Ex'd Marriage Cert. to NV to be certified
- 08/24/09 ~ Fed Ex'd I600-A to USCIS
- 08/10/09 ~ home study report sent to DCFS
- 06/09/09 ~ all paperwork turned in for home study
- 04/22/09 ~ Accepted by Adoption Avenues
- 04/17/09 ~ sent
application to new agency - ~ Decided to go with different placement agency~
- 04/7/09 ~ 2nd and last home study meeting
- 03/12/09 ~ 1st home study meeting
- 02/23/09 ~ Accepted by BFAS
- 02/09/09 ~ approved by home study agency
- 02/07/09 ~ mailed
applications to home study and placement agency - 11/16/2008 ~ Decided to adopt from Ethiopia
